Over 5 million dollars in federal grant money has just been allocated to various Planned Parenthood affiliates under a teen prevention program run by HHS.
The TPP program is described by OAH as, “one of a growing number of federal programs that focus on providing evidence of what works, investing in new and innovative approaches, and fostering a culture of learning.”
The Office of Adolescent Health (OAH) was established in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health in 2010.
According to OAH:
OAH operates grant programs aimed at reducing teen pregnancy and supporting expectant and parenting teens and maintains an evaluation portfolio associated with these grants. OAH operates a website with extensive resources regarding adolescent health and leads collaborative activities with other federal agencies and national groups that serve adolescents
Since the program’s inception, OAH has worked in collaboration with HHS’ Administration on Children and Families, Family and Youth Services Bureau and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Reproductive Health to, “extend the reach of teen pregnancy prevention in targeted communities.”
According to OAH, a total of 81 organizations received the grant money to:
Support and foster early innovations to fill gaps in the knowledge of what works to prevent teen pregnancy; and
Develop and rigorously evaluate new, innovative approaches to combating teen pregnancy.
Grants for OAH’s 5 year program to run from 2015-2019 included abortion giant Planned Parenthood.
This is not the first time these OAH grant dollars have been given to Planned Parenthood, as one blogger documents here.
A breakdown of the $5,679,657.00 grant dollars to the abortion business is detailed below:
Under what OAH labels their Tier1A, “Capacity Building to Support Replication of Evidence- Based TPP Programs” they gave $750,000 to Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest Seattle Washington for “vulnerable youth.”
In OHA’s Tier 1B, “Replicating Evidence-Based TPP Programs to Scale in Communities with the Greatest Need ” program, three Planned Parenthood affiliates received almost $3,000,000 in grant money:
In OAH’s Tier 2B, “Rigorous Evaluation of New or Innovative Approaches to Prevent Teen Pregnancy” program:
Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest Seattle, Washington received $2,000,000.
$1,000,000, was allocated for “Family-based intervention for rural youth and their parents or caregivers” and another $1,000,000 for “Clinic-based intervention for LGBTQ teens and health care providers.”
In addition to the grants listed above, the abortion giant recorded receiving $528.4 million dollars in tax money, according to their 2013 to 2014 annual report.
In 2013, Planned Parenthood reported performing 327,653 abortions.
A document filed by Planned Parenthood to the IRS shows that their president, Cecile Richards, took home a salary of $451,752 plus $31,405 in compensation from related organizations and $107,771 in other compensation from Planned Parenthood.
Not only does Planned Parenthood not need any more funding, but they do not look after the welfare of children.
Since 2002, Life Dynamics has been documenting the way that Planned Parenthood has covered for child sexual predators by not reporting pedophiles who take young victims to their facilities to cover up their crimes.
Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics describes the investigation, “We did an undercover sting operation over ten years ago proving that Planned Parenthood is operating a nationwide pedophile protection ring. And, it is still in business today,” he said.
According to Life Dynamics every state mandates that if a healthcare worker has reason to suspect that an underage girl is being sexually abused, they are required by law to report that information to a designated law enforcement or child protective services agency. That agency is then responsible to investigate the possibility that the child may be the victim of sexual abuse or statutory rape.
But, the pro-life organization discovered that the abortion industry, including Planned Parenthood often fails to file those mandatory reports.
In their latest report Life Dynamics has uploaded actual criminal case summaries showing that when Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry refuses to comply with mandatory reporting laws, it results in profound, real-world consequences for the victims of child sexual abuse.
Read that report here.
Crutcher continued, “Look, what we know is that Planned Parenthood is nothing more than a collection of moral degenerates and sexual deviants. There are only two things we don’t know. First, when is the US Government going to stop giving these people millions of dollars in federal money and second, how much longer are the American people going to allow their children to be turned over to these perverts? ”
