Man shoots pregnant girlfriend for refusing to take abortion pills

A Las Vegas woman, caught in a love triangle, was shot in the head after she refused to take the morning-after abortion pill.

Police say that 21-year-old Gregory Myrick was having a sexual affair with Breyana Lewis and the two got into a heated argument when the victim told Myrick she might be pregnant.

Myrick insisted that Lewis have an abortion because he was engaged to another woman. Myrick gave his 20-year-old fiancé, Daquesha Fowler, a handgun and told her to shoot Lewis.

Police have charged both assailants with attempted murder with a deadly weapon.

The victim’s injuries were not life threatening and she is expected to recover.
